Really rapidly, that is. Today, it is virtually impossible to be with a group of people where there is not at least one person who is caught up in their Smartphone, in a completely isolated world of life and death and Facebook status updates. The passive approach, where the world is followed through a screen, is present everywhere. It seems that machines have outdone us and that we just accept the fact. In schools, kids no longer need to learn how to write by hand or do maths in their head. They are handed a computer or a tablet which will henceforth be their admission ticket.
